The feet


- It is important that you train before beginning the walk. At least three weeks before. It begins to reason of 5 kilometres day and it concludes the period of training with 15 or 20 daily kilometres. You will avoid the feared tendonitis and muscular flight attendants.

- It revises your feet well before the exit, especially the fingernails. If you consider it opportune do a visit to your doctor.

- If when concluding the stage you have the feet swollen, take a bath in temperate water with fat salt and vinegar during 15 or 20 minutes, after dry them and give them a massage with rosemary alcohol. You will be as new.

- To begin the walk with new footwear, it is a mistake that is usually paid expensive. The boots have to be rotated by your own feet.

- The foot should go well lubricated; to take it dry it is an error. Apply Vaseline or products, very good, that there are in the market as the pilgrim's ointment, giving you a good layer before beginning the stage, mainly among the fingers.

- Changes socks often and wash the feet whenever you can, to refresh them in the creeks or in the sources, in the good time it is an indescribable pleasure.

- You have to take care that the socks don't make wrinkles inside the boots and put them the other way around, so that the seams and irregularities are toward it was.

- The pilgrim's ointment (natural product) that before has pointed out, it contains, in their composition, component anti - inflammatory and healing. A fine layer after the walks, especially in the grazes it is very advisable.

- There is who uses, as preventive measure, two pairs of socks, some fine ones and on these some fats, but not everybody this of agreement with this technique. You can prove it and if it goes you well, stupendous.

- The massages in the feet, are very good they activate the circulation of the blood, there is always a partner willing to be done this reciprocal favour. If at the time we apply rosemary alcohol or even olive oil, still better.

To sleep in the Refugees

-In occasions to sleep in the refuges, especially for those people that they find difficult to reconcile the dream, the symphony of snores can be awful and stressful, some good plugs of hearings will alleviate the serenade.

- Except for exceptions, the pillows of the refuges usually are not very clean, a small pillowcase doesn't weigh a lot and it avoids the contact.

- It is necessary to take some caution with the purpose of avoiding to the "scamp" that taking advantage of the pilgrim's dream, can steal.

- Always take a roll of hygienic paper in the backpack, occasionally in the refuges finish.

- If the pilgrim arrives by car or it has somebody that takes the backpack in the car, they will no t be able to sleep in the refugees.They will have to look for other places like hotels. The pilgrim that walk, are the first ones in the refugees, before the ones that go by horses or by bicycles.

- From November to March, it is very difficul to do the Way by bicycle, because of the mud, we recomend to do it by the highway, but always taking care of the traffic.
