To cross Sahagún offers certain difficulty by deficiencies in the sign posting with the yellow arrows, but it is enough with the knowledge that the pilgrim must leave by the bridge "Puente Canto" over the River Cea.
Already located to the other side of this river, doing a part by highway and another one by way the travelling will reach a point in where it is possible to decided between two routes: to continue well by the French way, in which case the pilgrim does not have to cross the railcar and to follow by a long track and monotonous, that the Council of Castilla y Leon has at least been in charge to plant trees in the left side; Or to pass over the freeway and after crossing Calzada de Coto continuing by one old Roman road (Via Trajana) that leads towards Calzadilla de los Hermanillos.
Both tracks become to join in Mansilla de las Mulas.
To follow the French way you have to take the route from the left and that also runs to the same side of the railcar, where it is arrived at Bercianos del Real Camino, town of few neighbours and that it is crossed without inconvenient to continue by an identical itinerary to the previous one, of almost eight kilometers a little boring, but that, without no possibility of being confused, leads us until the Burgo Ranero where we have located the end of the stage.
