The exit of Mansilla by the old stone bridge, that it is located to one hundred meters of the refuge, next the pilgrim takes an agricultural track in the left margin to avoid the highway, and without leaving it will arrive at Villamoros. This town is crossed by the highway in the direction of a singular bridge in curve form that cross the River Porma, it is convenient to pay attention when crossing it since it supports much traffic and it is dangerous.

Immediately the traveling arrives to Puente de Villarente, from where it begins a long way with all type of services, gas stations, restaurants, inns and many industries, that practically does not give in until the same Leon.

The yellow arrows always saves of some kilometers of border but alternating with the intense rolled traffic, crosses Arcahueja by the later part of the town and equal way crosses Valdefuentes, where the way and highway are joined, to initiate a slight ascent to the alto del Portillo.
