One leaves Villadangos by the source of Ancos, the way follows by the desert and always with the highway N-120 like reference, the pilgrim enters in San Martín del Camino that is crossed quickly, and from a smooth slope it leads to Órbigo. Shortly before arriving the traveling leaves the highway by the right, and by a way that pass between agriculture pavilions it arrives at the bridge of "Paso Honorable" and the Hospital of Órbigo.
At the exit of Órbigo and after crossing it by the most historical part, two alternatives are offered again to the pilgrim: To follow by the left and a way stuck N-120 or by the right towards Villares de Órbigo, both possibilities conclude in the cruise of Santo Toribio. The option of the right is more pilgrim since the intense traffic is lost and runs by two small populations. The first one that is following the way, is very well signaled, is Villares de Órbigo and the other one three kilometers Santibáñez de Valdeiglesias.
About 6 kilometers of this last town the pilgrims meet with the other ones that they were by the other side, in the cruise of Santo Toribio. The place that is located in an elevation of the land, offers wonderful views. All the pilgrims sit down awhile to contemplate, for the first time, the city of Astorga with the cathedral that is drawn in the horizon, as well as the mountains from Leon to the bottom and the Cantabrian mountain to the right.
A slope is approached relatively hard until San Justo de la Vega and already in the valley, three kilometers separate the pilgrim of Astorga. It is acceded by the East and its elevation will force to the pilgrim a last effort.
