The long walk by asphalt begins towards the valley of the Pambre river and after to have crossed two long kilometres, takes a deflection to the left, that by the small villages of San Xulian and Pontecampañas, takes until the first village of Casanova. Half an hour later and after crossing the river Porto, the pilgrim enters in the last province of the Way: A Coruña.
A piece of road, with rest of old Rome, leads until Leboreiro, and 6 kilometres of pleasant stroll by ways and corredoiras (little roads) separates of Melide, before the pilgrim will pass through the back room of an industrial estate and through the fertile valley of Furelos, where a bridge of 4 eyes will remember the primitive channel.
The entrance to Melide is one long passage by the highway of Lugo, the refuge is in the highest part of the city, it goes in front of the same one and the Rúa of San Antonio follows it, in reduction. Right in front to the bar Pilmar is necessary to turn to the right and to take a way that penetrates in a dense forest. After crossing it, the pilgrim arrives at the village and immediately at the house of Parabispo and the small village of Boente.
Before entering Arzúa (the goal of this day), one goes, in this constant to raise and to lower, by valleys of the rivers Ribedeira and Iso and also by the small Villages of Castañeda and Ribadiso da Baixo, localities all of them very near to each other.
