The pilgrim leaves Los Arcos by the way of the cemetery, taking an agricultural track in good conditions that take until Sansol, from where the following locality is descried, that it is reached after crossing the highway N-111 and overcoming a precipice between cultivations.
In Torres Del Rio, the pilgrim already must prepare for a section of "broken legs", are almost 11 kilometres of toboggans, always taking like reference the wagon indicated, that it is crossed in diverse occasions before arriving at the city of Viana.
The traveller does not have to fall in the temptation to continue by the highway and to lose an urban helmet fortified and filled with bragged of mansions and mansions. When coming out we walk by asphalt until kilometre 81, where a track of earth to the left leads us to the hermitage of the Virgen de las Cuevas, pattern of Viana.
Following the same plan, well signalised, the pilgrim arrives immediately at pine groves the right of the highway and at a powerboat that it is in the same ray that separates the Rioja of Navarre. A knot of communications is surpassed and the way, between cereal fields ends at the house of Mrs. Felisa, who on foot of the door of her house she hopes the pilgrim to give him affection, hospitality, water fresh and, in the good time, fruits of its fig tree (for the pilgrim which it wishes, she seals the Credentials) A short and smooth reduction takes us until the same border of the Ebro river, that above follows waters right until the famous stone bridge, that is where the first great river is crossed by the pilgrim in the route.
The traveller is in Logroño. The refuge is closely together of the bridge, the dear yellow arrows leaves until the same door of the refuge.
